How to Clean Your Entire Kitchen With One Safe and Natural Ingredient

When it comes to cleaning and keeping a healthy home, it really helps to implement a variety of all natural cleaning solutions that are safe for you and your family.  Not only are these solutions more reliable, natural cleaning products will end up saving you time, money, and will contribute to your daily eco-friendly practices.  There are probably a multitude of natural products already in your home that can help you maintain a healthy environment. Today, we are going to focus on baking soda and how it can decrease the amount of scrubbing involved in your deep cleaning routine.

Cooking is an amazing opportunity to spend with friends and loved ones, unless the mess you make requires hours of cleaning.  No one wants to spend their free time scrubbing the good memories away, especially when you are required to wear a gas mask to prevent harm from those seriously harsh chemicals.  With that said, let’s begin in the kitchen.

There is nothing like the smell of cookies baking in the oven, unless you can’t smell the cookies because of the burning mess that is roasting on the bottom of your oven.  To solve this problem, you will be mixing three parts baking soda and one part water. Once the mixture turns into paste, it is ready for you to begin layering it on your oven’s interior surface. With your oven off and cool, you are first going to dampen the oven by spraying it with water or hosing it down.  As you begin to lay down the paste it is important to focus on the bottom, you will want a layer about ¼ inch thick.  After a few hours of saturation, grab a microfiber cloth like the CleanAide® premium 350 GSM black cleaning towel, and wipe off all the paste and accumulated gunk that comes with it. For those extremely old, caked on messes, it may take a few applications but will always work in the end. If you need extra scrubbing power, remember to use your CleanAide® microfiber spot cleaning towel.

If you end up having some extra paste, there are several other places that it can be used.  To spot clean your stove, dip a clean ultrasonic cut microfiber towel   in the paste and scrub away.  Since we’re already in the kitchen, you might as well break out all the pots, pans, and food containers to strip them of irritating food stains and bothersome odors. For the worst smelling containers, let soak overnight.

Don’t forget to place a small box of baking soda in the refrigerator, freezer, and cupboards to keep away unpleasant odors. Baking soda can also be put in the trash bin. Sprinkle some on the bottom of the bin and also after you put on a new bag.  Baking soda can be used around the entire house so you might as well use it everywhere, especially since it is less expensive when bought in larger containers.
