I purchased a nice pearl necklace from another web site for my niece's college graduation. When they arrived, I was quite underwhelmed, even though they had been graded AA they came in a plastic bag and just did not look like fine jewelry. A few days later, I saw this necklace on Amazon and ordered it. It is about the same price as the other but the difference is worlds apart. This necklace looks fabulous in the wood box, the clasp looks really great and works well, the color is nice and the pearls are uniform. My niece was stunned when she opened this gift. It was that beautiful. At the current price, this is very, very good deal.

Very elegant, the clasp is very nice, and gives a nice loud click to confirm it is locked. Box it comes with makes the whole presentation that much better. Pearls are beautiful

Bought for my girlfriend to wear to a very fine French restaurant on Valentine's day. Beautiful necklace and packaged very elegantly in a felt-lined wood box. Perfect choice and fantastic value.

I bought these pearls for my granddaughter's gift. She was thrilled! They have a beautiful luster! The clasp is very beautiful and unusual, and the case they came in was very pretty. They really are exquisite! I will be return again to buy the matching pearl studs for her birthday. I highly recommend!

I bought this a few weeks ago when it was on sale, and it arrived in a fairly timely manner and was well packaged. The box it comes in is quite beautiful and matches my main jewelry box. Upon opening it, I was pleased. However, upon not-so-close inspection, I found multiple mars on the pearls' surfaces. The insert that came with the pearls reads: AAA pearls "have an excellent high luster, appear almost perfectly round, and have a 95+ % blemish free surface." The pearls have luster, though not quite as much as one would expect from 'AAA' pearls and they are slightly off-round; the size of the pearls is well matched and exactly what I wanted. I am very disappointed in the amount of blemishes on the pearls. Pearls are natural creation, and I expect some abnormalities. However, my mother was able to spot flaws on the majority of the pearls without her reading glasses on....
Perhaps my necklace was a fluke. I really like the clasp, the box, the length, and the price I paid, so I would be thrilled if I could have a replacement with few marks, as advertised.
